I absolutely love RadioLab from the depth of my heart but this app shows a disrespect for the most popular medium out there, one that RadioLab can attribute much of its success to: mobile. Shame. The app must be updated on high priority. And Im happy to help with testing, design etc.

Let me start off by saying Im not mad. Radiolab is a fantastic show and for all those episode Ive listened to for free, contributing 2.99 is nothing. That said, this app is the only only convenient method for being able to access old episodes my favorite show on the go, and it not working is frustrating. I think the focus of this app should be to gain stable access to all radiolab episodes and which means all the flashy UI really isnt necessary. The UI, beautiful as it may be, is confusing and, as I might imagine, play a part in the app constantly crashing. So please, NPR, if you are reading this review, at least make sure the audio is functional before rolling out an update. Also, while Im here, might I suggest a different business model of making the initial app free and offering a premium fee for access to archived episodes and/or special content? That way consumers wouldnt feel so cheated after misleadingly purchasing a broken app.

Guys youre killing me. The app keeps crashing as soon as I open it....every time. Im getting major Radiolab withdrawals here. Hope you guys fix it soon!

Love this podcast, but this app is just plain theft. App crashes as soon as you start to play any episode, when you download or try and stream it.

I love the podcast... However the app not so much I cant get through like 10 mins of the podcast before it crashes! I purchased because I thought it would be more convenient than listening on safari... But now I use safari anyway...

I love Radiolab, I cant get enough. But the app crashes continually. Gets annoying quickly. Also you cannot arrange episodes from oldest to newest or vice versa. That feature would help tremendously. I hope you tweak the app up a bit it will be great.

Please come up with an update that wont crash all the time!

This app has been available for some time now, and while I absolutely love Radiolab, I find it disappointing that the app has not gotten any better. Podcasts will often skip ahead or back a few seconds without any input, and frequently there will be a few seconds missing entirely. Sometimes a podcast will take forever to buffer, and often not play at all. The push notifications about new podcasts happen many hours (sometimes days) after I have already listened to them via the app. It would also be nice if there were more interactive elements like crosswords or quizzes included with each podcast.

Buy it if you want to support Radiolab, not if you want to listen to the podcasts.

It works with wifi, but the "download" function doesnt seem to work on iPhones.

Nearly every time I hit play, nothing happens... You also cant sort by date so if you want to start with episode 1 its difficult to do. Many other issues I wont get into. I love the podcast but this is a terrible app. Just give me a list of listened/unlistened episodes that I can play.

This is an awesome app. They have great programming and its incredibly easy to get sucked into each of their episodes. The app itself sometimes gets stuck at the top of its menu, but after turning off and on again usually works. Awesome app.

The app is a superb complement to an already fantastic show. Amazing interface design with a great attention to all the details (icons, fonts, widgets…), and a quite complete feature set, including the ability to record yourself and interact with the Radiolab team. The navigation may take a few minutes to understand, but the overall experience is so rewarding and refreshing. A must-have. Kudos to the Radiolab and 1 Trick Pony teams!

I expected a decent app for a great radio show. But this goes beyond any of my expectation. Fun and Fabulous design with innovative tools for direct participation. The best radio app Ive ever seen!

Ive had this app for years, and it used to work perfectly! For about the last six months, I cannot download episodes, and most of the time the app crashes after being on it for a very short amount of time. I love this show, but PLEASE FIX THIS APP so we can all listen to the show again!

1. i click the app 2. it loads for ten seconds, and then crashes before even the content of the app shows up please fix it!! it keeps crashing! the app is really cool besides this, but i dont know how i can get it to work

Ive been waiting for this App for to long,thanks for doing it justice,it looks great,keep up the show,you guys are like two best friends Ive never met. Hope to meet you guys one day.

I would rather have a simpler, less artsy-modern app that works, instead of this monstrosity that is currently offered. Fix it already! Its been long enough.
